Soviets in Gas Mask- a RPD gunner, DSHK HMG team and a Giegier counter operator would finish the range of nicely.

How about the US/ CAnadian First Special Service Force- big winter Parkas and Johnny guns would look great and could be mixed in with existing ranges. The platoon 20 range of them only amounted to 2 figures...

As has been mentioned before I'd also like to see some 'yards for vietnam.

Thanks for that Pete.

I have some Nam weapons already cast. How many 'yards you think would be required?

NBC: There are 3 poses sculpted with different LMG's. The RPK may not cast though due to a slim barrel. Thena gain I have yet to add the bipod which could make it easier.

The special service guys look a n option, I like the mountianeer look :)

Great news on the NBC soviets.

For the 'yards I guess it depends on how many different weapons you wanted to give them, Units would tend to have the same weapon but each unit would vary- from M3 grease guns and M1 carbines to M16 and so on. 5-8 poses plus a MG gunner would be good I reckon.

From what I can see they look like scruffy irregulars, jungleboots, civi headgear? Is it WW2 webbing?

yes please. If 10 figures will be enough for a squad i'll make them sooner rather than later.

CIDG units were pretty flexible in organization I think. So a typical squad might range from 10-14. I'm not bothered by repeats in a squad so even 5 would be great.

If you are seriously considering it, you could post a message on the Fields of Fire forum http://fieldsoffireonline.freeforums.org/index.php, which is all Vietnam gaming. Or I could post a link to this thread on there, and you'd probably get a lot of input on their kit and stuff. There's quite a few 20mm gamers on that forum.

How many poses would you be looking at for a FSSF range btw?
